a szatén szövésnek külön és folytonos láncfonati átlapolási pontjai (vagy vetülék-átlapolási pontjai) vannak rendszeresen és egyenletesen elosztva a szöveti ciklusban, amelyet hosszú láncú (vagy vetülék) lebegő vonalak és összefonódás jellemez.
